My Last Week In Canada

For my last week in Canada we plan on having my friends over, so I can say goodbye before we leave on our adventure. During my time in Grenada I am going to miss my friends a lot, so I am glad I will get some time to say goodbye.

I will see my aunt and uncle before we leave. We are going to have Chinese for supper and go for a swim in my aunt and uncle's pool.

I'm excited about going and I am also excited that I am going to get to see my friends.

Packing Magic!

This week we started to pack up all our clothes.  We had to buy compression bags they make clothes press together so they take up less space. There are two different kinds, one you vacuum out all the air and one you squeeze it out. It is really fun to watch the vacuum one. Because it is saving space we are allowed to pack one large Ziplock bag of Lego each!

What I wish we could pack our grandmas into our bags!

Jay's Visit

On Thursday our friend Jay came down south from Iqaluit to visit us (and some other people).

We had lots of fun going to the corn maze. That was Jay's first corn maze. The maze was in the shape of the Brighton Lighthouse. To walk the maze it took a little over 50 minutes to get out of the three acres of corn. In some spots the corn was only up to my thighs and in others parts it was about seven feet tall. When we went back to the barn we got freezes and a toy. Jay took a geko, if you know him you should ask to see it! Jay was a trooper because he had just returned from a half marathon run about 30 minutes before we went to the maze!

We also played Madden 2011 football in the basement. We played the board game Race the Stig (you'll know who that is if you watch Top Gear UK). We also looked at #Dumpcano 2014 and played tag.

I am going to miss Jay a lot when we are in Grenada. We are going to see if we can have a 100 degree Celsius difference between our two worlds (Iqaluit and St. George's). This will keep us connected on Facebook or Twitter (through my mom).
